twelve weeks, one stuck writer at a time
Block Breakers is the longest course I run because block is the deepest knot.
Twelve weeks. Eight diagnostic modules. Four guided writing labs. The Maven Office Hour every Thursday at 11 a.m. central where I argue with your inner critic on your behalf. We tour the structure, the deliverable, and the writer who showed up not having written in four years and finished a 60k draft. That one made me cry a little. Block is not a one-week fix. It is, occasionally, a twelve-week one — but only if the structure holds and the writer shows up.
Block Breakers · the structure
| Phase | Weeks | Focus |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnostic | 1-3 | Name the block precisely |
| Reset | 4-6 | Rebuild the writing routine |
| Writing Labs | 7-9 | Apply directly to your project |
| Recovery | 10-12 | Sustainable practice for life |
Who Block Breakers is for
- You've been stuck more than 6 months.
- You have a project you actually want to finish.
- You can commit 4-6 hours weekly for 12 weeks.
- You're willing to be diagnosed before fixed.
- You can show up Thursday at 11 a.m. central (or watch the recording).
- You believe you used to write and want to again.
Twelve weeks won't fix a forty-year block. But twelve weeks of the right diagnosis plus the right routine will fix a one-to-four-year block almost every time. Block Breakers is built for that.
